We had our 1st Annual Exercise-a-Thon in January! We were able to raise over $3000.00 for this event. We used some of this money to purchase a much needed portable PA system for the school. The kids had a great time participating in the exercises as well as competing in running laps. Everyone participated with a good attitude and they kept asking “when can we do this again” It seems that this event was truly enjoyed by all. Click here for pictures.

After school we had an award celebration and we gave gift certificates out to the top boy and girl for running laps in each grade. The 8^th grade winners were Max and Mualla, 7^th grade winners were Aleyna and Evan, and the 6^th grade winners were Kennedy and Allen M. We also gave out prizes for the top 3 donations. 1^st place went to Precious, 2^nd place went to Colin and 3^rd place went to Yavuz. Daniel Herrera won the new bike that was raffled off. A very special thanks goes out to Falcon Aerospace who sponsored our event and provided all the children with a new t-shirt that can be used for PE. We would also like to thank Sunset Graphics they did a great job designing our t-shirts and giving us a great deal on pricing. Thank you to everyone who sent in donations and also to all the parents who were there at the event working hard to make this fundraiser a success! We would also like to thank Miss Crenshaw for working with us in keeping the kids’ active and letting us use her PE class time for this fundraiser.
