Cyber Cup 3rd Place

Pacific Technology School WON 3rd PLACE at the San Diego Mayor's Cyber Cup Finals on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the UCSD Campus. The Team was made up of our 8th graders (Austin, Cody, Colin, Elias, & Yavuz) along with their Coach Mr. Geldiyev (CS Teacher).

Another Success From Pacific Technology School
Science Fair

2nd Annual Magnolia Science Fair was held at Magnolia Science Academy-1 on Saturday, March 6, 2010. 7 projects participated from our school. About 15 judges from education and research firm evaluated more than 60 projects. Projects have been selected in four categories. Our 4 projects out 7 got an award. Click here for pictures.

Microsoft Enlightens our Kids Again!
Microsoft Store MIssion Viejo

On Monday, March 8th 2010 five of our students attended a special training session at the new Microsoft store in Mission Viejo. This was our student’s second trip to this amazing facility. They participated in a Security Conference with two specialists Chris Johnston (CISSP, MCSE) and Ned Curic from the Irvine branch of Microsoft. This trip was organized by Patricia Melecio (Microsoft Store) and Mr. Geldiyev (Computer Science Teacher) for our team as a preparation session to get ready for the Cyber Cup.
